WHAT IS FACE MODELING WITH HYALURONIC ACID?

Face modeling with hyaluronic acid is also called face volumetry. It is based on the use of fillers based on hyaluronic acid in the modelling of facial features.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the human body, therefore it is characterized by high biocompatibility. It has a moisturizing, regenerating and firming effect. Thanks to its properties, hyaluronic acid a substance often used in aesthetic medicine practices.

In the case of face modeling hyaluronic acid is used in cheekbone enhancement, face modeling, as well as non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - FACE MODELING WITH HYALURONIC ACID

The procedure of face modelling with hyaluronic acid consists in introducing an appropriate amount of filler in selected areas of the face using a needle or cannula. 

The sensations during the performed treatments are individual and dependent on the patient's pain threshold. Face modelling with hyaluronic acid may cause a slight feeling of discomfort, so to reduce it, local anesthesia may be applied. Additional anaesthetics may also be contained in the preparations used during the procedure. 

Redness, swelling and bruising may persist for several days after the procedure. Symptoms should resolve spontaneously within a few days after the procedure.

With time, hyaluronic acid degrades naturally and gradually and it is absorbed into the body. The duration of the process may vary in each patient and it depends on individual conditions, among others: the patient's lifestyle, age, genetic predisposition. Usually the effect lasts from a few to more than ten months. After this time you may repeat the procedure to maintain the continuity of effects.

Immediately after the procedure, it is recommended to be gentle with your skin: do not massage or rub it firmly. Touching your face or applying makeup is not recommended for 24 hours after the procedure. Within 7 days after the procedure, you should also refrain from using sauna, swimming pool, solarium, as well as excessively cold and hot baths. Intense training and increased physical effort are also not recommended.
