WHAT IS ‘GOLD’ MESOTHERAPY?

‘Gold’ mesotherapy is a mesotherapy procedure using a patented applicator equipped with 24-carat gold microneedles. During the procedure, the product is introduced into the deeper layers of the skin by means of micropuncture. 

The composition of the optimum preparation introduced by means of the ‘gold’ mesotherapy is determined individually with the patients, depending on the condition of their skin, the expected effect and the treated area. 

Usually, the applied preparations contain substances such as: hyaluronic acid, Botox, vitamin complexes, peptides, amino acids and other nutrients and regenerative substances. The gold covering the applicator microneedles reduces the risk of allergic reaction and has anti-inflammatory properties and accelerates wound healing.

Depending on the selected preparation, the ‘gold’ mesotherapy may be used in procedures aimed at moisturizing the skin, improving its tightness, highlighting and refreshing, as well as reducing wrinkles, furrows or enlarged pores.

The treatment starts with applying an anesthetic creamt to the treatment site. After a set period of time, the cream is washed off. Taking into account the needs of the patient, the doctor prepares a personalized product, which is then introduced into the skin using a special applicator.

The needles of the applicator used for the ‘gold’ mesotherapy are very thin, and the depth of punctures is small, which is why the procedure is considered as painless. However, it should be remembered that the sensations during the treatment are an individual issue dependent on the patient's pain threshold. Therefore, in order to reduce any discomfort, local anaesthesia in the form of anesthetic cream may be used. 

After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red. Injection sites may be visible. Symptoms should resolve within a few days after the treatment.

The effect after ‘gold’ mesotherapy is an individual issue dependent on the patient's personal circumstances. The effect of the treatment may be influenced by factors such as the severity of the problem, the skin type, the treatment area and the type of product being administered. 
The final number of treatments and their frequency is selected by a doctor during an individual consultation, taking into account the patient's needs and expectations. It is usually recommended to repeat the treatment 3-4 times a year.

After the ‘gold’ mesotherapy, extreme temperatures should be avoided: intense cold or heat (sauna, solarium). Sunlight should also be avoided after the procedure, so it is recommended to use strong SPF sunscreens.
