WHAT IS INJECTION LIPOLYSIS?

Injection lipolysis is a minimally invasive fat reduction procedure from selected body parts. It consists in the topical introduction of a special substance eliminating fat cells by means of an injection.

Injection lipolysis is one of the non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures, because it does not require general anaesthesia or surgical cuts.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - INJECTION LIPOLYSIS

Lipolysis is performed after previous anesthetization of the treatment area with an anaesthetic cream. Then the selected part of the skin is subject to a series of injections that are given with a thin needle.

During lipolysis, the body fat is reduced by performing injections with a substance that dissolves fat cells. At sites where the product was introduced, a small, controlled and intentional inflammation of the adipose tissue appears. Fats released from cells are transported to the liver where they are broken down and then excreted from the body.

The sensations during the treatment are an individual issue dependent on the patient's pain threshold. Injection lipolysis is defined as a minimally invasive procedure and in the opinion of patients it onvolves little pain. To reduce any discomfort during lipolysis, a topical anesthetic cream is used.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure involving the removal of body fat from different parts of the human body. Unlike liposuction, injection lipolysis is non-surgical and less invasive, because it does not require general anaesthesia or surgical cuts.

After the treatment the injection site may be red, bruised, slightly swollen and tender. Injection sites may also be visible. Symptoms should resolve within a few days after the treatment.

The effect after injection lipolysis is an individual issue dependent on the patient's personal circumstances. The effect may depend on: the number of treatments performed, location and amount of body fat as well as individual reaction of the body to the treatment.
It is usually recommended to perform a series of 2-3 treatments with a several weeks’ break. The more body fat, the more treatments may be required.

The effect after the injection lipolysis may be permanent if the patient maintains appropriate diet and physical activity.

After the treatment, it is recommended hydrate the body by drinking plenty of fluids. In a few days after the treatment it is not recommended to sunbathe, use sauna, perform intense exercise. After the treatment, lymphatic massages are recommended, which accelerate the action of the treatment.
