A consultation with a cosmetologist is the first step before choosing the treatments that will solve the patient's problem. The cosmetologist will help select the appropriate treatment(s) for the body and face, rule out any contraindications, and arrange a plan for the procedures needed to achieve the best possible results. The cosmetologist is also the person who will advise on appropriate home care that takes into account the needs of the skin. Sense Med Concept's cosmetologists work closely with the clinic's other specialists, so they may recommend a visit to the doctor during the consultation.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST CONSULTATION

The first meeting with the physiotherapist is the key to good targeted therapy. The basis for the first appointment is a thorough interview with a patient, which will help to learn about the reported problem. The physiotherapist asks questions about the symptoms of pain, illnesses, injuries, and surgeries. The physiotherapist asks not only about locomotor symptoms, but also gastrointestinal, respiratory and blood disorders. Important information include also the patient's age, profession, hobbies and medications.
After the interview, there is time to perform an examination. Depending on the patient’s problem, the physiotherapist performs appropriate tests. The physiotherapist examines the range of motion, muscle strength, observes the gait, pays attention to the pain symptoms that appear during the test.
If additional tests were carried out before, e.g. MRI, X-ray or ultrasound, it is always worth bringing them for consultation. These will help confirm the diagnosis made after the examination.
