FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - LABIA AUGMENTATION WITH HYALURONIC ACID

The procedure of labia augmentation consists in introducing the product based on hyaluronic acid with a thin needle or cannula into the labia majora and distribution in the treatment site.

The sensations during the treatment are an individual issue dependent on the patient's pain threshold. To minimize any discomfort associated with injection, the treatment site is anesthetized with the anesthetic cream.

The treatment site may be gently swollen, reddened and bruised. In addition, the site may be painful and hypersensitive to touch. Symptoms should resolve spontaneously within a few days after the procedure.

With time, hyaluronic acid degrades naturally and gradually and it is absorbed into the body. The duration of the process may vary in each patient and it depends on individual conditions, among others: the patient's lifestyle, age, genetic predisposition. Usually, the effect lasts from several months to more than ten months after the procedure.
The patients who want to maintain the treatment effect after such time are recommended to repeat the procedure after consultation with a doctor.

After the treatment, special care should be taken of the hygiene of the treated area - it is recommended to use mild washing agents.
After the procedure you should resign from bathing in a bath tub, using a swimming pool and jacuzzi, and from training. It is also recommended to refrain from sexual activity.
