The RF vaginal revitalisation procedure should be preceded by a gynecological examination and Pap smear test. The procedure itself is carried out by a gynecologist with a special device using radiofrequency technology. The procedure is referred to as the so-called lunch procedure, due to its short duration (about 20 minutes) and the fact that it does not require a special recovery period.
The sensation of pain varies depending on the individual pain sensitivity of each patient. However, the procedure is assessed by the patients as non-invasive and painless - therefore, no anaesthesia is required.
The RF vaginal revitalisation procedure does not require a special recovery period from the patient. After the procedure, the patient may return to her daily activities, and to full sexual activity.
